I didn't particularly care for the collaboration assignment. Granted, I didn't really understand it either, but yeah. I feel like it didn't really go anywhere, and not many people took it seriously.

Assignment 3

I like to hear the stupid little gossip stories of celebrities just to say, "oh, I didn't know that. Now I do." To me, it's interesting to hear other people's opinions over the radio. The only trouble with that is that I barely go anywhere in the car. To watch celebrities in talk shows "talk smack" about other celebrities is pretty entertaining too. I don't really read newspapers or magazines, and I don't have internet access on a regular basis, so those things are useless to me.

Blog Numero Dos (for those following along in Spanish)

I personally liked the presentation done on Ryan Seacrest. Even though I never really got into American Idol, I like the fact that he had the will-power to change himself. Although I am an advocate for being your own person, I also know what it is like to want to fit in because of bullies. As most of my peers have said, I would most likely avoid being like Janet Cooke. I have no idea what would possess a person to write a fake story about a 9 year-old heroine addict. However, I do understand why she did it: she wanted to be famous. Although her methods were wrong, I totally understand her intentions.

my 1st blog

I don't really get this whole blog thing, but I'll do what ever i can to pass this class. I mean, I do want to major in journalism in college, so I guess whatever I have to do, I will do it. I don't know what my theme is going to be. I guess it will depend on what I feel like blogging about.
